Dr. Brijesh Rathi, Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Hansraj College, University of Delhi, India completed his Bachelor and Master degrees with first division from CCS University Meerut. He then joined University of Delhi for the doctoral studies in 2004. He completed doctoral degree on synthetic and structural aspects of novel sym-triaryl guanidines in 2010.
Dr. Rathi joined Prof. Alexander M Klibanov's group at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), United States of America as a Visiting Assistant Professor for one year (2016-2017). While his stay at MIT, he made intriguing research findings to drug discovery area and gained high standard trainings and established longstanding collaborations with eminent research groups. Dr. Rathi was recently appointed as an Adjunct-Assistant Professor (2018-2021) at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, United States of America. He was recently appointed as Affiliate Professor (2019-2022) at University of Debrecen, Hungary to conduct PhD course and undergraduate elective 14 credit courses.
At present Dr. Rathi is leading Laboratory For Translational Chemistry and Drug Discovery; Research Cell of the College, Institution Innovation Council (a proud member of MIC, Government of India), and Centre for Global Health (a unit of Loyola University) as convener.
